A Canadian friend expressed some concerns today, regarding DJT.

And other "rich men north of Richmond".

I will quote my friend:

“I think our buddies to the south - governmentally speaking - are a big bunch of selfish and arrogant bullies who forcibly demand their own way in all ways so that they always win everything... and at some point, that spirit can be turned on the little brothers and sisters - or mutant cousins - to their North...”

Tulsi Gabbard has had her concerns too. Which might be why she crossed the great blue-red divide a while back. 

She also offered a recent example of why exactly she felt compelled to cross  over, yet again, in 2024, after running for POTUS in 2020.

After Tulsi's public endorsement of DJT earlier this year, she apparently become a member of his transition team in September. “Should he be elected”.

Admittedly: I had no clue who she even was until maybe 6 months ago. (Canadian #MapleMAGA here eh!)

Just give me the basics though. If the subject matter, or the subject of the inquiry compells me, I might dig a bit deeper. (Like P'Nut's owners (alleged) side hustle? No. Don't do it…)

So anyway, I had already stumbled upon a very sweet clip of Tulsi and her husband Abraham on X, late on election night or early November the 6th...

I had to deduce for myself who it was as there was no attribution by the uploader. (And sourced it independently myself just now. Not rocket science eh?)

I looked deeper. (What a charming couple…)

Tulsi Gabbard, some members of her immediate family, as well as some members of her 2nd husband's immediate family, are quite tight-knit. As well as tight-lipped.

This article below though, offered glimpses into some otherwise, shall we say opaque years of Tulsi's life-before-the-military-and-politics which I might not otherwise have bothered to delve more deeply into.

That old article offered links into verbotten areas of questioning which, if she were to have been deeply vetted for Trump’s Veep by his peeps, may have caused some discomfort.

Did that discomfort prevent Tulsi Gabbard from being tapped as DJT's running mate in July?

Dunno folks. I really don't understand politics, Trump’s political machinery, or its machinations.

Full disclosure: I was completely “apolitical” my entire adult life until around the 3rd quarter of 2001.

But I digress…

So, while I have an average understanding of why normie North American marriages (these days) rarely seem to last as long as they used to “back in the day”, I also have some level of understanding of why certain marital unions endure.

I understand how, and why certain friendships, especially business-type friendships, or allegiances if you will, between powerful and only powerful-in-their-own-circle-of-families and members of the same religious organizations, and other organizations, do often endure for decades.

Sometimes these allegiances have endured for centuries.

If I catch a whiff that something “smells off” (to quote Tulsi Gabbard), I'm a bit like a K9 Unit shepherd at an International Airport Terminal.

Anyway, I really have no idea who Tulsi Gabbard truly is. Just did a quick walk-by. She seems to have been one very tough macadamia nut for investigative journalists to crack. 😉

Deep dive her CV, and her unorthodox family history, for yourself, if interested in discovering who Tulsi Gabbard is, or is not, today.

That would definitely put you ahead of the curve, and not behind the 8-ball, should the day ever come that she throws her hat in the ring again.

The truth of the matter may not all be out there though... (Rarely is eh?)

While I believe Tulsi Gabbard appears to be a perfectly lovely, nay, perfectly awesome human being, if someone asked me, today, “Do you think Tulsi Gabbard would be a good candidate for President of the United States?” (not that anyone ever would…) I would truthfully and unequivocally answer:

“No.”

Hey, I could change my mind though. If known (and heretofore unknown) facts change. 🤣
