If you're into the science of inventions which hardly ever see the light of day...
... This article by "Bob Widlefish" may fascinate you.
I've known Bob since late 2017. “The Las Vegas Massacre" hooked us up.
He has a (brilliant) mind, of his own, and researches complex subjects intensely.
A Beautiful Mind.
Some of the characters mentioned in this article have fascinated me ever since I first bumped into them. Like an inventor by the name of Stanley Meyer, for example, who came and went in the blink of an eye.
FYI: His Johnny Carson appearance has disappeared. That's where I first heard his name, and about his invention. I never forgot.
If you can find that interview though: More power to YOU!
Meanwhile: (I don't seem to be able to hyperlink or add the video to click on so copy & paste this #short url if interested in what Joe Rogan said about Stanley and his death.)

And what about Bob eh?
You may find this interesting. fwiw, I'm only several minutes in to it. Perhaps open the contents, as he lists what is discussed. Came up on X.
"Stuart Hameroff is an American anesthesiologist and professor at the University of Arizona known for his studies of consciousness and contention that consciousness originates from quantum states in neural microtubules, partnering with Roger Penrose to explicate on the physics involved."
