Sadly: things went south again recently for Canadian musician and Justin Trudeau impersonator John Julian Stetch, so wanted to update the article which is how I discovered it was sitting in drafts…

After he took a leap of faith and decided to branch out into Justin Trudeau Impersonation comedy:

John took a BEATING for his, uhh, insouciance.

He was pummeled by the Vancouver (Culture) Mob.

John very nearly abandoned his little side hustle however at the last minute, thanks in part to "The Streisand Effect", he decided nah:

Every little bit helps John stay fiscally afloat during these darkening Canadian post-covidian days folks. As well as the coming long winter nights. (It helps pay for video props too!!)

See, John's live musical career and his (in-person) livelihood (piano teacher) were sidelined for 3 long years.

I'm pretty sure he'll never recover the losses he suffered. (I’m sure I won't either.)

Then, lo and behold: It was “over with”. But wait. What in the actual f*ck is going on now?

Long scheduled and promoted live music bookings were abruptly cancelled. 3 times. Within several months.

A musician in his band suddenly quit. No explanation. Zero notice.

This, after surviving 3 years of the Trudeau, Dr. Bonnie Henry and Dr. Theresa Tam perpetrated scamdemic?

Can any readers relate to being forced to perform mindless menial labour jobs in order to afford exorbitantly high housing costs, mounting credit card bills, fuel and food?

How about the “Covid Restrictions" and health mandates which 85% of Canadians followed like lemmings?

Cancelled memberships followed John Julian's VSO cancellation. I can only hope the woke go as broke as those who steadfastly stood our ground for over 3 years.

Despite their best efforts, this phoenix rose from the embers, and his star power continues to shine.

Way to ramp it UP John!!
