This former contractor paid a steep price.
So did I, but what did I lose, really?
My freedom to travel, work and participate in Canadian society.
A major seasonal job contract.
Several smaller contracts.
My one-woman businesses which had actually barely kept me afloat over the past decade.
I was terminated from several jobs after losing my businesses.
"No jab no job" eh!
Lost most of my family. Some due to sudden death. Some due to CPC. (Covid Politics Cancelation.)
Lost 99.8% of the few friends I still had when the wicked winds of pandemonium blew in. (Some due to sudden death. Others to CPC.)
Small price to pay for holding my ground and saving my physical and mental health. (And I would gladly trade my current good health for my jab injured son's ill health, if that were possible.)
This is my hill. The one I choose to die on.
Definitely not the hill that "the authorities" (including my mother... 😉🤣) incessantly attempted to coerce and convince me to die on. (Epic fail.)
"It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees."

Listening. A post-mortem. ⬇️
My journeys throughout these, my so-called "Golden Years", and those prior, have been navigated mostly solo. (Not mad about that.)
Having known and closely observed thousands of partnered and single people as I've done for the past 52 or so years of being out here in the wild, both male and female as well as several of the "trans" designees too, I'm more firmly convinced than ever these days:
Meglio Sola Che Mal Accompagnata!
Nostalgic moment: Went into the garage just now and found the signage I'd crafted and worn throughout the 2022 Freedom protests. Still in pretty good shape albeit faded. (Like me.)
Kept them for posterity.
Fun Factoid: Had been thinking about hitching a ride with any old trucker eastbound to Ottawa after my son's birthday in February of 2022.
As I was packing, Turdeau invoked The War Act by another name though, so... Yeah.
In case any of you missed witnessing the OTHER SIDE OF THE FREEDOM PROTEST on “unbiased” Canadian taxpayer funded CBC, Global News or CTV (as most legacy media watchers did):
An unfunded boots on the ground Livestream:
Perhaps I'll "Just Drive" over the rockies to check out the lay of the land if (ever) I'm free again (or mobile enough) to do so, and if my clunker (yellow check engine light is on) hasn't conked out by then.
Could also pack a carry on, a guitar and hop on a bus Gus.
Or I could walk to a nearby on ramp and stick out my thumb like I did around Christmas time 2015, when I made my terrifying escape from a remote ranch in Apache County AZ, after a blizzard. (And survived to insinuate the tale. 😀)
Meanwhile: I intend to continue to make every effort to Live as if I’m Free.
Ciao folks.❤️
