As a young child of 7 or 8, I was taught a song, in Catholic School. I believe the lyrics were originally written by an American folk singer by the name of Woody Guthrie, however the nuns taught us this version of the tune which I still remember so I’m typing them up:

“This land is your land, this land is my land,

From Bonavista to Vancouver Island;

From the Arctic Circle to the Great Lakes waters,

This land was made for you and me.”

Oh, Canada! You are unrecognizable to me these days.
