The Society for Psychical Research preempted this book by well over 100 years with FWH Myers' "Human Personality and its Survival of Bodily Death" - first published in 1903. Haven't read it, but Colin Wilson thought highly of it. But the survival of our conscious after physical dissolution may not be any cause for celebration: George Hansen's "The Trickster and the Paranormal" which I have read, will chill you to the marrow of your bones.
Had a quick glance via Brave Browser. "Trickster" spends several chapters on UFO phenomena (and CIA deceptions), which, 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦, is not what it seems... 😳 You should read it sometime -- though I'll warn you, it's dense, and difficult.
