Regrets? I've had a few...

But then again too few to mention.

Here's just another "bad luck" story which I heard about some time ago but feel that it deserves a re-share because:

I was sitting out in the sun this morning, waiting for my brother to help me patch a rusty area on my car before he drove back to the coast with a cooler full of lasagna Bolognese, blueberry muffins and some stuffed panini for the road.

Last night, he showed me a news flash from his FB feed trough saying "Matthew Perry died. He drowned...”

I instinctively replied: "Probably had a massive heart attack BEFORE he drowned..."

Brother walked away. "Good night"…

I continued my mother's post-91st-birthday-dinner KP & laundry detail then crashed after a 13 hour work fest. (Aren't dysfunctional family gatherings fun?)

This morning, looking for clues, I found many stories confirming Matthew Perry's “tragic” sudden demise at age 54, however only ONE article mentioned that he had (allegedly) been found deceased, in his hot-tub, by paramedics.

This was after 911 received an emergency call regarding a "heart attack" at Perry's LA address. The decedent could not be revived.

“Drowned” eh? A lot of that going around. After experiencing massive heart attacks. At home or wake-boarding or swimming or relaxing in the deck hottub.

I remarked to my brother that he only hears about young or youngish “celebrities” and ‘athletes” who die suddenly and unexpectedly.

But I digress.

The mainstream media is full of stories today, about this Canadian-American actor's myriad "health issues", dating back 30 odd years, as well as Canadian entertainment pundits reporting, ad naseum, how Matthew Perry and Justin Trudeau were "playground friends." (How very Justin-like of Turd-Eau to horn in on the RIP celebrity hoopla eh?)

So yeah, sitting out there, on this frosty but clear and bright sunny morn, I wondered how many people regret NOT getting “the vaccine” vs those who have such regrets?

Matthew might have missed it. He was pretty busy, writing his memoirs in November of 2021.

I was busy trying to figure out a way to get the hell out of Canada before Lord Goodhair brought the vaxhammer down.

RIP to all who declined to do their due diligence, trusted their physicians, their “health authorities”, and their governments.

I have no regrets. With regard to my “vaccination status” at any rate.
